This anthology contains 72 poems (including those published in 1973 and exclusive unpublished manuscripts) by Said Zahari, a prominent political and journalistic figure in the region who was detained in Singapore from 1963 – 1979. This bilingual publication with over 300 pages also contains a Foreword by the Chairman of the People’s History Centre, Dr Syed Husin Ali and an Introduction by the Editor, Prof. Dr Rahman Embong; as well as Forewords by Dr M.K Rajakumar, Hersri Setiawan and Former Student Activists in the United Kingdom.
