N. Balakrishnan is the Senior Industrial Relations Officer from the Malaysian Trade Union Council (MTUC). The story is about his involvement and experience in working together with workers  who had been laid off by the Mostek Electronic Factory in Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone (FIZ) on 23 September 1985.
