Announcing Pusat Sejarah Rakyat’s latest archival planning project entitled ‘Malaya(sia) & Singapore’s Transnational Progressive Networks, 1950s – 1980s’.

Designed as a year-long initiative, our archival planning project will embark on identifying various paraphernalia and bilingual documentations. Ranging from newspaper clippings, meeting notes, printed materials, magazines, flyers, pamphlets, the collections encompass the activities of multiple progressive political fronts and networks in Malaya(sia) and Singapore throughout the tumultuous process of decolonization in Southeast Asia.

This archival project is supported by the Modern Endangered Archives Program (MEAP) at the UCLA Library with funding from Arcadia, a charitable foundation that works to protect nature, preserve cultural heritage and promote open access to knowledge.
